Families, outdoor enthusiasts, and adventure seekers will have plenty to explore at the much-anticipated return of the Midessa Boat, RV & Outdoor Sports Show, which will take place January 24 - 26, 2025, at the Ector County Coliseum. After a three-year hiatus and now under new ownership by Showbiz West Texas and E & G Guns, this event promises fun and engaging activities for all ages.

The 2025 show will feature new family-friendly interactive attractions like the ArmyBassAnglers Kids Indoor Fishing Tank, where children can learn how to cast a line and catch a fish. “Our mission is to inspire a love for fishing through education and hands-on experiences,” said a representative from ArmyBassAnglers. “We’re thrilled to bring this unique opportunity to kids and families at the Midessa Show.”

For those interested in marksmanship, ArmyBuckHunters’ Indoor BB Gun Range will be on-site to teach kids about firearm safety and basic hunting skills in a controlled, family-friendly environment. ArmyBuckHunters’ dedication to outdoor education ensures a memorable experience that blends fun and learning.

Promoter Richard Esparza of Showbiz West Texas shared his vision for the event: “We’re excited to bring back the Midessa Boat, RV & Outdoor Sports Show as a true family-friendly experience. With hands-on activities like the fishing tank and BB gun range, alongside our exhibitors showcasing the latest in outdoor vehicles and equipment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

Beyond these interactive features, attendees can expect to see an impressive array of boats, RVs, outdoor gear, and guns, along with exclusive show discounts, live demonstrations, and markets that span all seven buildings of the Ector County Coliseum.

General admission tickets are $15, 3-day passes are $30, and kids under four are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at EctorCountyColiseum.org or the Ector County Coliseum Box Office on the event day. 

Doors open at 10 AM every three days, Friday, January 24th - Sunday, January 26th. The event ends at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday and 6 PM on Sunday.
